Residents
of Ng'othi village in mwea-west sub County of Kirinyaga are in shock after
a middle aged man was found muddered.
The
man who is a Nissan matatu driver at Makutano Wwea was found
murdered at rukanga village.
According
to the residents, he was called by people who were pretending they wanted
to hire his vehicle only to be found murdered.
Kirinyaga County has been having incidences of insecurity, last month Panic
gripped residents of Kianjege village in Kirinyaga County after Kianjege St.
Peter ACK priest, and Joseph Kinyua Maina was found murdered.
Ngo’othi
villagers have experessed their deep grivevances to the security officers to
ensure every person is safe in the copunty.
The
body of the matatu driver has this morning been discovered in a pool of blood.
Confirming
the incident kirinyaga police Deputy commander charles Ontita said, he found
the murdered just beside his vehicle and police suspect he was killed by
people using axe.
His
body was taken at murang'a county mortuary waiting postmortem as police launch
investigations.
