Moi University communicates what it plans and
intends to do and the effect to students. It has been a norm for students to
crowd at the student center to go through notices placed on the notice board,
the university issues lots of information directed to inform students either on
power blackouts, events, emergencies and the time frame of a semester . It’s so
sadden to have a pile of notices pinned on top of another just because of space
limitation, this means there too much traffic imposed to students who are even
unable to read it either because of the crowd
or lack of identification of the current
notice placed on a notice board. The university
should come up with a mechanism of communicating to students efficiently unlike
channeling information through the student center notice board.
the student center has overtime not been a focal point for students, am in support 100%, a new communication channel must be established.
